Red Neck Battery Checkon January 11, 2015 at 8:04 pm
For the record, some might find the accuracy of this comic disturbing. Forrest calls this technique “a red neck battery check” and it involves finding some nearby implement and using it to short-circuit the battery leads. If it sparks loudly or does something equally dramatic, the battery is holding a proper charge. If it doesn’t immediately try to kill you, the battery is flat. Well, that or you grabbed something insulated.
